Cross-platform support
Djehooty is developed and tested on Linux. The project is designed to run primarily on this system. However, it relies on portable technologies, which makes the project compatible with different operating systems.
Support for Windows and MacOS is still limited and needs to be developed.
Support for other operating systems is not yet our priority, however we would be happy to receive help to extend Djehooty's support to other platforms. Feel free to contribute to Djehooty to improve support for these operating systems.

Contributeβ
djehooty-standaloneβ
Only the djehooty-standalone-linux-amd64 (Linux) executable is distributed for now. Since we cannot test the Windows and MacOS versions, we have not published releases for these platforms yet. Feel free to reach out if you wish to test on these platforms. We can provide binaries for these platforms upon request.
Dockerβ
The Docker image is by definition compatible with different platforms, however it has only been tested on Linux. You can help us by providing a more complete installation tutorial for Windows and MacOS, or by reporting any issues you may encounter when installing Djehooty with Docker on these operating systems.
From sourcesβ
Compilation of djehooty-backend and djehooty-frontend has not been tested outside of Linux. If you wish to contribute to Windows or MacOS support for these components, feel free to contact us and propose modifications and installation procedures for these platforms. We will be happy to help you make Djehooty compatible with as many operating systems as possible.
